Me, God, Grandma is an independent publication that explores the relationship between the author, god, and grandma over the past two decades. This special issue is an observation of how the worshipping culture connects the older and younger generations in the Chaoshan area.

The author was deeply influenced by the worshipping culture since childhood, but she was always skeptical about the existence of God and the complicated worshipping rituals.

Through the author's five personal stories, this publication discusses the role of worshipping culture in the connection of family between two generations, hoping to make the younger generation aware of worshipping culture's value and meaning.

《我，神明，嬷嬷》是一本通过探讨作者、奶奶和神明的二十年来的关系，以探究中国广东潮汕地区“拜老爷”文化如何连接老一辈和年轻一代人的独立出版物。

作为一个土生土长的潮汕人，作者从小被潮汕地区的“拜老爷”文化深深影响着，却在长大后成为一个无神论者，坚信眼见为实与物质主义，对神的存在以及拜神这种繁杂的仪式百般不解。从对奶奶“拜老爷”这个日常行为的麻木与不理解，到全盘否定和质疑，再到离家后，慢慢理解奶奶每日与神对话其实是为了传递对家人的情感。

通过五个小故事，用作者的心路历程探讨潮汕地区“拜老爷”信仰文化在连接两代人的亲情的纽带作用，希望让潮汕地区年轻一代正视与思考“拜老爷”这个习俗所带来的家庭情感维系价值。

For the visual art direction, the author gets visual inspiration from the traditional temple, joss paper, and different kinds of offerings, and integrated them into illustration, photography, typography to give readers an unexpected and surprising reading experience.

在设计与编排上，作者从潮汕传统庙宇和纸钱、潮汕各种供品中得到视觉灵感，融合插画、摄影、字体，富有巧思的页面构图，给读者一个丰富的阅读体验。

Introducing the display concept of 'Ba Xian table', 'Ba Xian table' is a special table that people use for daily rituals in the Chaoshan area, people will put offerings and joss paper for worshipping gods. The four different directions of the table represent the relationship between me, god and grandma, and also the audiences, involving audiences in the stories.

引入八仙桌的概念，八仙桌是潮汕地区日常拜拜用到的一种特殊的桌子，人们会在上面摆放供品、纸钱等等供奉神明。桌子的三个方向代表着我，奶奶，还有神明的关系，读者是第四个方向，作为一个旁观者的角度去看故事。
